Born in Ireland back in the day, I enjoyed a rural childhood and education before going out in the world to first study English Literature and Philosophy and then acting. I have worked variously as an actor, a teacher, a bookseller, a house painter, a demolition labourer, a landscape gardener, a baristador, a life model, a singer, an operating theatre technician and a photographer.
As the years have passed, alongside my desire to constantly evolve creatively, I have become more and more interested in what makes people tick and the dynamics of human behaviour in all its challenging diversity. I believe we are all composite creations of many different elements and how well we adapt to that make-up determines our perception of success and happiness.
The ClearOut is my attempt to share thoughts and conclusions as I try and develop a better understanding of the world we live in. The easiest way to to do that is to get the jumble out of my head and onto the page where I can see it more clearly and hopefully so can you.
Thanks for your interest.

As a fellow composite creation, I salute you, sir, and hope your human explorations bear fruit in unexpected ways.
I completely relate to the variety of occupations. There is no better way to experience life than from the inside, i.e. get your hands dirty and enjoy it. I like your blogs purpose and look forward to reading it.
